So we got slightly distracted by the awesome weather, didn't get our weekly fix of How to Look Good naked nor our early inside info and suddenly the Naked army tests out male products! Nevermind. For the record the results were:
Winner: L’Oréal Paris Men Expert Wrinkle De-Crease Moisturising Cream came out top with a score of 67% (RRP £11.29)
Joint 2nd: 61% ClarinsMen Moisture Balm (RRP £24) & 61% Nivea for Men Intensive Moisturising Cream (RRP £6.17)
Fourth: 52% Olay Complete Care Daily Sensitive UV Cream (yes, the one for women - RRP £7.49)
We also read that we missed an exciting Hairspray challenge (Ellnet and Alberto VO5 Extreme Style Freeze Spray) involving testing the hold of sprays whilst racing in speedboats and driving convertibles! Hmmm, inspiring.
We have just been pointed out that if you are not the hairspray type - you could fork out a fiver at Jamin' Leather for a "Plain Hair wrap" to keep your style in check on those windy tours. We are tempted, but for amusement value!
We like Gok Wan and given our quest to bring back power to the people it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we particularly like his ‘naked army’ reviews on How to Look Good Naked. Unfortunately our ‘connections’ have ruined the anticipation value of these tests for us by whispering the results before the show is aired. Then again we harassed them for weeks to get the inside info. A bit like opening Christmas presents a day early. But nevermind, it still does not stop us from watching and hearing the reviews. As part of the deal we have been sworn to secrecy and will only reveal the results after the show has been aired. So here is last nights verdict from the Naked Army jury on Lip plumpers:
Winner: MAC Plushglass (RSP £13) with a score of 64%
Joint 2nd: Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker (RSP £8) and Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Plump Perfect Lip Moisture Cream SPF 30 (RSP £20) 55%
4th: Benefit Lip Plump (RSP £14.50) 53%
Not a great couple of days for Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker then, as this morning they were reprimanded by BritishBeautyBlogger! Fair point really, but where is ours?! Wrapped in nice brown paper will do thank you.
