Limited Edition Hair Range from Aussie

by Sarah-Jane

I’ve always been a huge fan of Aussie hair products. 3 minute miracle, the intensive conditioning treatment, has rescued my barnet many a time and the Aussome Volume Shampoo and Conditioner range does actually transform my locks from being flat and lifeless to looking full and bouncy. So when I heard about the new limited edition Colour Mate Range, I knew I had to get my hands on it. Not only does the shampoo, conditioner and treatment keep your colour locked in place for longer but the bottles pretty floral design has been inspired by Australian fashion designers so your bathroom will look even prettier than normal.

Get a free skin check

by Sarah-Jane

If you are having problems with your skin or simply don’t know what kind of products you should be using then pop along to one of the six pop up skin clinics that skincare brand Vichy are organising throughout May.

The clinics are visiting six major shopping centres around the UK with a team of independent dermatological nurses. They will be armed with a Dermo.Analyzer – a skin diagnosis tool that looks at aspects such as what skin type you have, how hydrated the skin is, the melanin levels and how well your skin is ageing. They will recommend a Vichy skincare regime that will be suitable for your skin type and you’ll also get a £5 voucher to redeem against Vichy products in Boots when you spend over £25.

Get Steamy

by Sarah-Jane

Steam Cream has earned itself cult status in the beauty world. If you’re unfamiliar with it, it’s a multi-purpose cream that has been infused with pure steam. This makes the cream instantly breakdown and sink into the skin so you’re not left with a sticky feeling.

It’s filled with orange flower water making it smell yummy, oatmeal infusion which is fantastic at soothing and calming the skin and is so gentle that it can be used anywhere and almond oil which leaves the skin feeling silky smooth. However, it’s not really the ingredients or fancy way that they work with the steam that makes Steam Cream cult. It’s the beautiful tins that they come in, the latest of which is this fab flamingo designed tin.

It costs £10 and is available from www.steamcream.eu, John Lewis and www.asos.com

A perfume called Untitled

by Sarah-Jane

There’s a hot new designer fragrance on the market and chances are you’ve probably not heard of the designer and with a name of, Untitled, it’s not the most memorable. However once you smell it you won’t want to wear anything else ever again. Untitled is the new unisex fragrance from fashion brand Maison Martin Margiela a brand that is spearheaded by Belgian designer Martin Margiela, a slightly reclusive designer who chooses to stay behind the scenes at his fashion shows rather than take any of the limelight. With his clothes he opts for shades of white, very sleek designs and likes to keep things simple. Calling his first fragrance, Untitled fits in perfectly with everything that Maison Martin Margiela stands for. As for the scent, it smells like freshly cut grass and keeps developing getting fresher and fresher throughout the day. It’s available exclusively at Selfridges and costs £45 for a 30ml bottle.

Sumptuous, Bold and Waterproof

by Sarah-Jane

It’s that time of year when our mind starts to wander towards distant shores, hot balmy days and lazing around on a lilo in crystal blue waters somewhere very far away. In short, summer holidays are fast approaching and us girls need to make sure that we’re armed with the correct tools to deal with all the problems that they throw at us. Firstly, a good waterproof mascara. Thankfully, Estée Lauder has got the answer and it’s called Sumptuous Bold Volume Waterproof Mascara, £18. The brush is designed to separate and lengthen every lash as well as coating them in colour that doesn’t budge. It’s available from Estée Lauder counters nationwide. Stay tuned for more summer beauty saviours in a few weeks time.

Get Juicy

by Sarah-Jane

Lancôme Juicy Tubes have been a staple in my make-up bag since they launched 10 years ago and it seems I’m not alone. Did you know that every minute, 20 Juicy Tubes are sold nationwide?! That’s a lot of lip glosses!

The reason I love Juicy Tubes so much is the light-wash of colour, the fruity scent and how ultra glossy they are. So I will be snapping up all six of the brand new limited edition versions that launched last month. The packaging has been designed by Japanese artist, Yayoi Kusama who has used her trademark polka dots and unique style to make each one look delectably different.

Lancôme has even reformulated the ingredients so that they are all totally natural. Of the six shades I think my favourite is Crazy Raspberry, or it could be Rose Blossom or maybe even Happy Honey....Dot Apricot, Pop Art Hazelnut or Swing Pink...I love them all! They cost £14 each and are available in Debenhams.
